DataLens (the "Service") is provided by Alot Automations, a business established in Bogotá D.C., Colombia ("Alot Automations", "we", "us", "our"). DataLens is a product operated by Alot Automations. These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Alot Automations.
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
DataLens extracts data from user-uploaded files (spreadsheets, PDFs, DOCX, images) and generates visual reports using AI. Features, pricing, and availability may change. We may add, modify, or discontinue features at our discretion.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information at signup and keep it up to date.
The Pro plan includes a 3-day free trial. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged. After the trial, your selected plan renews automatically until cancelled.
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd. ("Paddle"). Payment, billing, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which offers a 20-day money-back guarantee on first-time purchases. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of the files, data, and reports you upload or generate ("Your Content"). You grant Alot Automations a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and process Your Content solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service for you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
The Service uses third-party AI providers to generate reports and insights. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Outputs are provided for informational purposes only and are not professional advice (financial, legal, tax, medical, or otherwise). You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying AI outputs before relying on them for any decision.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud, security or abuse risk, or repeated or serious violations of policy. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends and, subject to Section 8 of our Privacy Policy, Your Content will be deleted per our retention schedule.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by Colombian law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs will be accurate or complete.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Alot Automations' aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Paddle for the Service in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event will Alot Automations be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Colombian law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Alot Automations and its personnel from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The competent courts of Bogotá D.C., Colombia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer rights available to you in your country of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
